About Us
Durbanreview.org is a website dedicated to promoting human rights and supporting action by the international community. Our aim is to ensure human rights efforts are effective, focused and fair.
The website was developed in the lead-up to the United Nations Durban Review Conference in Geneva in April 2009 to cover the issues around the conference and provide accessible information to the public.
The DurbanReview.Org project is largely put together by volunteers. Many of these are university students, others are academics, human rights campaigners, and domain experts of various types. A number of human rights NGOs are partners in the project, and more are welcome to join us in the lead up to our launch on April 2nd 2009.
Logos and links to partners will appear here closer to the official launch, and will be updated as new organiations come on board.
