The United Nations Human Rights Council is the preparatory committee for the Durban Review Conference. The committee has been criticized because of the human rights record of the countries involved. The chairperson of the committee is Najat Al-Hajjaji from Libya and the Vice-Chairperson-Rapporteur is Resfel Pino Alvarez from Cuba.
